[Wikitech-ambassadors] Wednesday: Technical Advice IRC Meeting

#1

Reminder: Technical Advice IRC meeting for the first time of the year on
Wednesday 4-5 pm UTC on #wikimedia-tech.
Question can be asked in English & German.

The Technical Advice IRC Meeting is a weekly support event for volunteer
developers. Every Wednesday, two full-time developers are available to help
you with all your questions about Mediawiki, gadgets, tools and more! This
can be anything from “how to get started” over “who would be the best
contact for X” to specific questions on your project.

If you know already what you would like to discuss or ask, please add your
topic to the next meeting:

Hope to see you there!

Michi (for the Technical Advice IRC Meeting crew)

Now the almost definitive test: one email being forwarded to a Discourse
category with reply via email enabled and also to a Mailman mailing list
that is mirrored in another Discourse category.

(Hm. It seems that Discourse was able to identify that the same email was sent to two locations of the forum, and only published this one. It makes sense to avoid duplicates, but then again “mailing list mirror” should be really a mirror. Anyway, I’ll try to find out what is going with forwards first.)
